The Managed Care Services Unit uses a systematic approach to manage the medical care provided to ICE detainees outside of Detention Facilities where they are house. The Managed Care Services Unit employs Managed Care Coordinators (MCCs) who perform oversight functions and authorize emergent and non-routine health care.
